Steak Tostada

Instructions

Method

-      In a heated skillet, add sliced red onion and minced garlic, and sweat

-      Add in banana peppers

-      Add cooked steak to skillet

-      Add lime juice, and stir

-      Add in cumin

-      Add tomato to skillet, and let cook down

-      Add cilantro

-      Add cheese to skillet

-      On a tostada, layer refried beans, steak mixture, cheese, avocado and cabbage; top with Greek yogurt, and serve

Ingredients
  • 8-ounce steak, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup refried beans, cooked
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded cabbage
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 banana peppers, charred and chopped
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ½ red onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
