-      Preheat oven to 350°

-      In a large bowl or stand mixer, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy

-      In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt

-      Add egg and vanilla to butter and sugar mixture

-      Stir flour mixture into wet ingredients, scraping the sides of the bowl

-      When flour is incorporated, add 3 crumbled praline candies and mix just until combined

-      Place teaspoon-sized balls of dough on a half-sheet pan with 2 inches separating each one

-      Top with pecan pieces

-      Bake in the oven for 11 minutes or until the edges are golden

-      Serve and enjoy

  • 1 cup butter or butter substitute
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup raw brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 3 praline candies, smashed
  • ½ cup pecan pieces
