Method

-Season wings with pepper, salt, and Cajun spice

-Fry wings in olive oil at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes

-Pat wings dry with a paper towel

-Toss wings in Crystal hot sauce and chili flakes

Naked Wings with Bourbon Sauce

Ingredients

·      ½ dozen chicken wings

·      4 cups canola oil

·      3 teaspoons Old Honey Barns seasoning

Method

-      Season wings with Old Honey Barns seasoning

-      Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pot

-      Add wings to oil, and cook until crispy

-      Toss wings in bourbon glaze (recipe below)

 

Bourbon Glaze Ingredients

·      2 cloves garlic, minced

·      2 tablespoons olive-oil butter

·      3 tablespoons bourbon

·      2 tablespoons brown sugar

·      2 tablespoons honey

·      1 teaspoons smoked paprika

·      1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

·      1 teaspoon blue cheese

·      3 sprigs of thyme

Method

-      In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter

-      Add garlic to skillet

-      Add bourbon, and stir

-      Add thyme leaves

-      Stir in brown sugar

-      Stir in honey

-      Add in paprika, Dijon and blue cheese, and stir
