Instructions

Prickly Pear Margarita

Prepared by: Kristen Tremmel - Tanque Verde Ranch

Ingredients

·      1 ½ ounces tequila

·      ½ ounce Triple Sec

·      ½  ounce Prickly Pear

·      Fill with fresh lime simple syrup

 Method

-      Combine all ingredients in shaker and shake cold.

-      Rim Margarita glass with salt. Strain into glass

-      Garnish with lime wedge

Prickly Pear Sauce

Ingredients

·      Simple Syrup (equal parts water and sugar)

·      Prickly pear juice

Method

-      Mix together equal parts water and sugar

-      Place over low flame until sugar is completely dissolved

-      Allow to cool overnight under refrigeration

-      Mix 2:1 ratio of simple syrup to pureed prickly pear juice

 

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ ounces tequila
  • ½ ounce Triple Sec
  • ½ ounce Prickly Pear
  • Fill with fresh lime simple syrup
  • Simple Syrup (equal parts water and sugar)
  • Prickly pear juice

Method

-Muddle basil leaves, ginger, agave nectar, and grapefruit juice in cocktail shaker

-Add Compari and Gin in shaker

-Shake all ingredients together then use strainer to pour drink over cup of ice

-Use lemon twist for garnish.

  • 2 teaspoons Agave Nectar
  • 1 teaspoons Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice
  • 1 tablespoons Compari
  • 1 ½ ounces Death’s Door Gin
  • Lemon twist for garnish

Deaths Door Sunset Cocktail

Ingredients

·      2 Basil Leaves

·      2 slices Fresh Ginger Root

·      2 teaspoons Agave Nectar

·      1 teaspoons Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice

·      1tablespoons Compari

·      1 ½ ounces Death’s Door Gin

·      Lemon twist for garnish

Method

Black Cherry Gin Cocktail

Ingredients

·      ½ ounce Gin

·      1tsp Rose Water

·      2 ounce Tonic Water

·      1 tablespoon Black Cherry Jam

·      Edible Flowers as garnish

Method

-      In small glass pour Gin, rose water, tonic water and black cherry jam over ice

-      Stir ingredients and garnish with edible flowers for color

Virgin Cocktail – Flip Tip

Ingredients

·      1 ounce Orange Juice

·      1 teaspoon Rose Water

·      2 ounce Tonic Water

·      1 tablespoon Black Cherry Jam

·      Edible Flowers as garnish

Method

-      In one large glass pour orange juice, rose water, tonic water, and black cherry jam

-      Stir and garnish with edible flowers for a refreshing virgin cocktail

Instructions

Place everything in a blender and blend. Garnish with a slice of lime.
