Instructions

Method

-      In a pot, combine evaporated milk, butter and caramels, and cook until creamy

-      In a stand mixer, prepare box cake mix according to the directions on the box

-      Pour caramel mixture into batter, and whisk together

-      Place cupcake liners in muffin tin, and fill liners with batter until half full

-      Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 6 minutes, and remove from oven

-      Add chocolate chips and pecans to partially baked cupcakes, and then top with remaining batter

-      Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center come out clean

-      Let cupcakes cool, and enjoy

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 bag of Caramels
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • ¾ cup butter
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
