Instructions

Method

-      Combine eggs, almond milk, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl

-      Add bread to bowl, and let soak in liquid

-      Melt butter in a heated skillet, and caramelize apple slices

-      Toss apple slices in caramel sauce

-      Stir in pecans

-      Place soaked bread and apple mixture in a casserole dish, and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes

  • 4 cups almond milk
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ loaf raisin bread, cubed
  • 2 granny smith apples, sliced
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
